Relay for Life set to be fun for all

February 7, 2012

Relay for Life organising committee member Hamish Niles is glad there are 52 teams enrolled for the March 24-25 event at the showgrounds, but he urges more to get involved. “We’re going to have at least 500 people there on the night, but the more the merrier and I urge people to get involved. It’s going to be such a fun occasion, movies will be playing through the night along with pyjama parties and even Zumba exercises.”
Mr Niles said the fundraising ideas from teams were novel and interesting including up-coming casino, quiz and movie nights.
“The site plan is taking shape for all the teams and their stalls which will include food and entertainment. But we want more teams to ensure a successful event for the Cancer Society.”
To register interest, people can contact Property Brokers or the Cancer Society.
