A good yarding of prime stock greeted buyers at the Tinwald saleyards on Tuesday, with top heavy lambs selling between $180-190. Heavy lambs ranged from $160 to $175, medium lambs from $135-155 and lighter lambs $110-130.
The top prime ewes sold for $180, with medium ewes $120-145, and lighter ewes $95-115. An advertised line of lambs from Earnslaw Station sold well; black face lambs ranging from $92-105, and all others from $77-91.
