It should have come as no surprise to Ashburton's elected representatives that they're falling in the public's popularity stakes. Each year the council employs a professional organisation to measure public satisfaction with the work it does for the community. Questions are asked of a cross section of residents and they're asked to rate the council across a range of issues.
