That's the question the Ashburton railway station trust is asking itself as its members chase dollars all over the district, hoping to secure some spare cash for the station purchase fund. Everything that can be tried has been tried for the station. Its owner has spent buckets of money on it, he's secured tenants, he's done his best. Who can blame him if he's reached the end of the road.
